Cider Hash

Tonight’s hash runs from Roger Wilkins Cider Farm – hurrah!

It’s such beautiful countryside around here.  Mudgely sits on a ridge in the levels that runs west from Wells – the Mendips rise to one side and in the distance the Blackdowns on the other.  We’re getting beautiful sunsets but with the sun disappearing around 8 o’clock now we’ll soon be into torch light.

Really concentrating on my forefoot running and no longer feeling the work in my lower quads and my feet are feeling strong and flexible.

On the last part of the run there was a steep downhill gulley with a deeply eroded middle channel.  Instead of carefully working my way down the centre I instead sprang from one side to the other at great speed – fantastic.
