Feels like I was born with barefeet.<\/p>\n<p>Total weekly miles: 10 miles<\/p>\n<p>Total BF miles: 10 miles<\/p>\n<p>Barefoot Sessions: 5<\/p>\n<p>Terrain: Mostly asphalt, but also trails.<\/p>\n<p>My barefoot miles are purely barefoot at this time.<\/p>\n<p>Weather: Warm.<\/p>\n<p>Condition of Feet: Left foot has made up some serious ground. I don&#8217;t limp anymore. Feet were good, but am experiencing capsulitis, which I at first mistook for blisters.<\/p>\n<p>Comments: Smiles and polite interest.<\/p>\n<p>Nasty things: Nothing gross while running, but I mowed the lawn BF and stepped on about four large slugs. The grass turned my feet green and they wouldn&#8217;t come clean!<\/p>\n<p>Changes in Running Style: The form has been nothing but smooth this week, but I am finding it difficult preventing sore plantars.<\/p>\n<p>Injuries: Capsulitis on the second metatarsal.<\/p>\n<p>Wisdom McNuggets: This week I learned 1. a high cadence can eliminate many problems. 2. pavement can be fun as well as challenging.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Has it been only seven weeks?
