{"id":2430,"date":"2011-09-02T12:14:05","date_gmt":"2011-09-02T11:14:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/runningtrainingplan.com\/runningpress\/?p=2430"},"modified":"2011-09-02T12:14:05","modified_gmt":"2011-09-02T11:14:05","slug":"week-4-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/runningtrainingplan.com\/runningpress\/week-4-3\/","title":{"rendered":"Week 4"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A quick one this week.\u00a0 No running at all.<\/p>\n<p>Why?\u00a0 Well, while I was\u00a0camping on\u00a0holiday I managed to stub my toe.\u00a0 &#8220;So what?&#8221; you might ask.\u00a0 Well, at the time, I was barefoot, it was the middle of the night, and I stubbed it very hard\u00a0against a very rough, very solid brick.\u00a0 My big toe basically looked like it had exploded, there was a very thick flap of skin a couple of centimeters across\u00a0hanging off, and lots and lots of blood.\u00a0 Luckily we&#8217;d brought a first aid kit with us, so I was able to patch it up in torch light to the extent that I stopped bleeding all over the tent.<\/p>\n<p>So I&#8217;ve been hobbling around for the last few days with my toe taped up, and it finally seems to have healed enough that I can walk fairly comfortably.\u00a0 However, I&#8217;m going to be very careful over the next couple of days to make sure I don&#8217;t re-injure it while it heals.<\/p>\n<p>So, top tip this week?\u00a0 When you get up to go to the loo in the middle of the night when you&#8217;re camping,\u00a0bring a torch and watch where you&#8217;re going!\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A quick one this week.\u00a0 No running at all.
