My Terrocs are getting a bit hammered, and I&#8217;m also getting a bit concerned about my Achilles problem that is not getting any better.<br \/>\nSo for this 18 miler I used another pair of Inov8 shoes, the Roclite 315. Still very little support or cushioning, but they offer a little more protection in the heel area. Mainly because they are newer and the heel cup is a little more friendly.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, the run was hard, a mixture of about half and half road and off-road with one very big hill at about 6 miles. I thought about finishing with a couple of miles barefoot, but didn&#8217;t want to upset the rhythm of this run.
