{"id":529,"date":"2010-01-16T17:16:56","date_gmt":"2010-01-16T17:16:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/runningtrainingplan.com\/runningpress\/?p=529"},"modified":"2010-07-19T22:42:36","modified_gmt":"2010-07-19T21:42:36","slug":"week-1-so-far-so-good","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/runningtrainingplan.com\/runningpress\/week-1-so-far-so-good\/","title":{"rendered":"Week 1: So Far So Good"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Wet, Cold, Rocky, Wierd&#8230;but my legs feel great!!! 3 runs down, .75 miles covered. \u00a0I can say that so far that these small distances are just what the doctor ordered. \u00a0I am not quite sure if anything has been &#8220;cured&#8221; since my 3 weeks off and now\u00a0beginning\u00a0Barefoot, but I haven&#8217;t had any of the usual pain. \u00a0I guess that&#8217;s good for any distance at the moment.<\/p>\n<p>Things are different though. \u00a0I now know what it is like to NOT heal strike. It&#8217;s been very brief but I am convinced that I am running quite differently than before. \u00a0All three &#8220;runs&#8221; this week were quite slow and my feet are not quite used to the sidewalks and small parts of the road yet. \u00a0I feel all the rocks, but I am able to lift off of them when I feel my foot on them. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>To sum up, I don&#8217;t feel like I am using my legs as much as my body to run. \u00a0I&#8217;m interested in Chi Running that has been\u00a0recommended\u00a0by many people. \u00a0I&#8217;ve read some articles on the web and seen some videos.
