Took off socks and shoes at the bottom of a hill &#8211; surface = rough tarmac. Feet were moist and soft to start and the road surface felt prickly and uncomfortable. Feet felt sore during and after the run, and remained hot for the remainder of the evening.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Injury report &#8211; <\/strong>both achilles remain sore. Running barefoot eliminates pain on the heel, but the achilles feel tight due to increased workload on the calf muscles. Lower back continues to be uncomfortable with occasional cramping in the hip \/ hamstring area.
