A well-earned holiday on the Greek island of Rhodes included in this two week spell which ended with the formidable South Downs Way Relay.
Despite the heat in Greece, managed short runs most days, but not much barefooting, just the one run earning looks of disbelief from the locals.
The South Downs Way Relay takes place on the fist Saturday in June. Teams of 6 runners cover 100 miles running 3 legs each over some of the most beautiful scenery in the south of England. It’s a hard day for sure, effectively 3 cross country races in a day with about 3 hours in between, but thoroughly rewarding. One day, someone will do it barefoot, not sure it will be me though!
Total miles for 2 weeks: 55.5
Barefoot: 4.2 (3 runs)
