Yes, but not me I hasten to add (maybe next year).
I was hoping to catch him for a chat but he got away from me.
Anyone who knows this race, also knows that there is a long downhill section around 9 and 10 miles (as well as some nice little up-hills early on), not exactly the ideal barefoot run. But this guy looked so natural and smooth, a few barefoot miles under his belt I suspect.
I was out again this morning running the last 1k of an 8k run barefoot on a wet road with some debris around. Feet ok, but a little bit ‘warm’ after. I will start increasing the barefoot running again now that the weather is more accommodating.
