Back to slapping around The Downs. This week I’m being more sensible – I’m running around only one half of The Downs and only half of that fully barefoot. I start in my Vivos and then half way around take them off. It’s rained this morning and the wet grass and tarmac feel lovely. Again, it feels like my thighs are doing a lot more work than normal.
As I approach the end I pass some young people sat by the Water Tower and a cry of ‘Run Forrest, run!’. Nice.
A good run, slightly tender pads but no problems. It’s obviously better doing less at the beginning (what a surprise).
