No picture this time – I daren’t look.
So, of course I decided to go for ‘minimal barefoot’ shoes and have ordered some Vivo Barefoot Evo IIs, which will arrive tomorrow – I’ll let you know how I get on.

I wanted to go for a longish run at lunchtime today – the weather was blowing, it had been raining but it was a good day for running. I got all my dry kit together, drove into work, the realise I left my shoes at home. So much for the long run.
Then I realised I could just go barefoot around the harbour and that would be fine. Except it was wet again and I didn’t want to do
Back at home, back at work and back to barefoot, but what to do about the cold weather?
I don’t want my feet to get frozen again, like they were in Berlin, but I haven’t managed to track down any cheap Aqua Shoes yet and the pavement looks very cold.
I don’t want to put on my cross-country shoes, as it’s not close enough to barefoot, so I opt for transition shoes. On

Two circuits on city streets in the same week have left them very tender.
I went to bed with socks on last night, to stop the Arnica Massage Oil rubbing off on the sheets.
I’m running the relay in about six hours and I have overdone it again.
It really does feel like back to square one…
